In the history of events for June 17, there are several key things that happened, including the Watergate scandal beginning to unfold, OJ Simpsons being arrested, and the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. Many British and Americans lost their lives in that battle. The British won that battle, but at the expense of more than 1,000 of their men being killed or injured.
