(The Daily News) Here is what happened this day in history for June 21, 2009... in 1964, three people were killed by the Klu Klux Klan for trying to help African Americans vote. In 1788 the Constitution of the United States went into effect. In 1982, John Hinkley Jr was found Not Guilty of shooting Ronald Reagan due to reasons of insanity.
