Video Phones Allowing Prisoners to Talk with Family

(The Daily News) Special video phones are being installed in prisons to allow prisoners to talk with their families. It is believed that the more a prisoner communicates with loved ones, the better prisoner they become. The large video monitor shows a video image of the prisoner and the person they are talking with. It also includes a countdown clock which shows how much time is left for the call before it is automatically terminated.
